The annual Wakefield Rhubarb Festival takes place in Febuary. It showcases the variety of produce available that is made using rhubarb. The early forced rhubarb is so sweet and tender, We make sure we pickup a good stack of it for Su to bake Cakes, Pies and Crumbles in the comming year. We are only minutes away from Wakefield via the M1.
 The Camellia House at Wentworth Woodhouse has undergone some major refurbishment, it is now open for visitors to enjoy.  Only 35 minutes from Wortley Cottage Guest House. |

Our B&B accommodation is in the centre of Wortley. We are pet friendly. We welcome walkers and cyclists on the TPT trans Pennine trail. Only a short walk to The Wortley Arms, Wortley Hall and Wortley Men's Club, Wortley Golf Club. Since we took on this Bed and Breakfast we’ve had guests from Australia, France, Canada, South Africa and USA. Guests visit for several reasons, visiting friends & family who live locally, attending Weddings, Funerals and Parties. Guests stay in our B&B whilst attending Non-destructive test training at Lavenders in Penistone. Locum Vets, Doctors and Surgeons.
