The stretch from Dunford Bridge to Wortley is approximately 10 miles, characterized by a gentle downhill gradient when heading towards Wortley, making it suitable for various fitness levels.
- Starting Point: A convenient place to begin your journey is the Cote Green Lane Car Park in Wortley (Grid Ref: SK 299992). This location provides easy access to the trail and ample parking facilities.
- Cycling: The trail's smooth surface is ideal for cyclists. A popular route is the 20-mile round trip from Wortley to Dunford Bridge, offering a steady uphill ride towards Dunford and a pleasant downhill return.
- Walking: For those on foot, the Wortley Circular walk provides an opportunity to explore the rolling countryside around the village. This route ascends to Wortley village, traverses farmland and woods, and then loops back via the TPT.
